So as I have promised I have now learned (and finally downloaded) some pictures. As I was looking at our pictures I realized that there are no pictures of my whole family. This is a picture of me, my parents and my brothers and sisters at Easter this year. Aren't we a great looking family?!?! I know..most people are like...how are these people related to you because they have blonde hair and blue eyes and you are dark haired and...well I have green eyes but still...how can that happen?? That is my stepdad but he is a good stepdad and took care of my brother and I most of our lives. The reason that I posted this picture is because as we approach the holiday season I hope that we can all appreciate our family. I know..you are thinking you just don't understand...my family is crazy! I know..mine too but they are what God has given us! They would do anything for us and I would hope that we would do anything for our families. What is your favorite family memory? Not just at Christmas time but anytime? Mine is the fact that we can all get together at the drop of a hat. My family is notorious for just making a lot of food for no reason just to get together and then we all eat, play games and yell at each other (not mean just loud toward each other) and we have a blast doing it!! I am thankful to know that my family would do anything for me and my kids and my hubby but I am most thankful that I have a great relationship and I live close to my family. I know that there are a lot of people out there in blogger land that arenot close to their family whether it is living close to their family or not having a close relationship to their family. Please just take the time to say "I love you" to your family...you may not know how much time you really have with them. Today I just found out that a young man whom I knew very well but have not talked to in a couple of years was a a fatal motorcycle and has left behind a wife, both of his parents and a wonderful little sister whom I love dearly. When I found out from one of my church elders his comment was simple but wise..."life is but a vapor" which is stated in the Bible. Remember that this Christmas and remember that you are only here for a short time so get your life straight and love those around you and don't waste time hating others.
